Sigma Alpha Epsilon

Sigma Alpha Epsilon is a community of student leaders, athletes, entrepreneurs, musicians, scholars, and "true gentlemen" committed to building lasting friendships, growing professional networks and giving back to the Stanford community. We understand that being a member of this brotherhood is a privilege, and remain dedicated to the betterment of each other and those around us through education, discussion and action. The future of our chapter will focus upon unification around the following vision:

• To foster personal development among our members in the areas of leadership, scholarship, citizenship, and social and moral responsibility.
• To become the leaders of the Greek community’s push to engage all issues, all viewpoints, and all people on this campus.
• To develop deep friendships amongst brothers that will last a lifetime.
• To lead the charge in philanthropic activities among the Greek community.
• To provide our members with guidance and support as brothers.
• To continue to strive for success in our mental, physical, and social development.

SAE aims to excel in every facet of fraternity life. We engage in meaningful community service projects, including literacy events for students in the Palo Alto area, awareness concerts, school-wide March Madness bracket competitions for charity, and philanthropy dinners with notable alumni. We offer extensive professional resources, including access to the network of SAE actives and alumni working in finance, consulting, engineering, law, medicine and education, who are more than happy to help younger members with networking and interview preparation.

Furthermore, our Leadership Speaker Series features prominent figures in academia, law, government, athletics, and business, who come to campus to share their wisdom with our members and the larger Stanford community. We also know how to have fun: we have the best formals on campus, throw some legendary day parties, and we supplement our social calendar with events at karaoke bars, western saloons, paint balling ranges, horse races, and more. We have fundamentally improved as an organization over the last three years, and we hope you stop by 680 Lomita for one of our events to see the strides we’ve made for yourself.
